Thailand

The Land of Smiles

Visiting Bangkok for a few days. Khao San Rd.

Visiting Bangkok is a must if you are going to Thailand, we never miss it & always stay for a few days. We usually move around to different parts but we have stayed the most in Khao San Road more than 10 times. The Road has changed a lot over the last 16 years we’ve been going. At first it was always late nights with late bars and playing pool & loud...

Taking a Trip to Koh Samet

Koh Samet is a small island fairly close to Bangkok, it has white sandy beaches with clear warm water. Its ideal for visiting for a few days or long weekend and is easily accessible from Bangkok. You can get a mini van or Bus leaving from Khao San Road to Ban Phe Pier in Rayong, they usually leave Bkk in the morning, this will include your ticket for the ferry. You...

5 days in Ao Nang, Krabi

Ao Nang Beach in krabi is one of my favourites, its a great place to stay for couple of days with lots to do. Make sure to take a day to visit Railay Beach in Krabi, you will need to hop onto a long tail boat to reach the beach, you just sail around big rock to beach in 5 mins. You will fnd these boats along Ao Nang Beach and they depart regularly. Another thing to...

Travelliing to Phi Phi by Ferry from Ao Nang, Krabi

I always like travelling to islands in thailand with ferry or speed boat. You can travel from Ao Nang, Krabi to Phi Phi island by Ferry or Speed Boat, most use the ferry. It is usually a 2 tiered boat with Top Deck like a sundeck, great for getting some sun and fresh air. It takes about 90 mins and if sun is out can be very pleasant.
